I’m based in Australia and feel incredibly grateful for the life I’ve been given. In my own small way, I want to give back and support something that truly matters to me; helping vulnerable children who deserve safety, care, and a chance at a better future.

Children have always meant a great deal to me. They are the most innocent among us, yet not all are given the same start in life. I believe being human is about showing up for one another - especially when a child needs support. Sometimes, even the smallest act of kindness can make a meaningful difference.

This fundraiser supports trusted organisers working on the ground at the Al Salaama and Al Adalaa orphanages in Somalia. These homes do their best to provide the essentials—food, shelter, water, and clothing . While also giving children access to education, helping them grow with confidence and hope for the future.

To help maintain transparency, these orphanages are visited each year by trusted representatives travelling from Australia, ensuring support reaches the children in the way it’s intended.

I’ll be sharing updates, photos, and videos along the way, focusing on the real impact of your generosity and the changes it brings to the children’s everyday lives. Every contribution goes directly toward improving their conditions.

At the moment, there is a real need for beds and mattresses. Many of the children are still sleeping on the floor, and something as simple as a bed can bring comfort, dignity, and better rest. Alongside this, ongoing support for food remains essential.
