Hi, my name is Tracy Killian and I have been friends with Jane Pearson-Turner since kindergarten. Jane and Dan are college sweethearts who have been married since 1996.

In 2005, Dan was involved in a tragic car accident that left him a quadripelgic. Dan is an amazing friend, loving husband to Jane, and role model to his kids Cole and Cade. He has been hospitalized since early January due to complications with his quadriplegia diagnosis and has undergone five surgeries which will be followed by a rehabilitation stay due to a pressure ulcer and bone infection. He has been unable to return to work after becoming bedridden last fall. Jane has also taken a leave from work and will need to return to her job before Dan is discharged. To help Dan come home, he needs a Hoyer lift that needs to be permanently installed on their bedroom ceiling to assist with transfer from his bed to his wheelchair. This fund can also assist with all of the other medical expenses that are not covered by their insurance.
