Hi there, I am seeking donations on behalf of my brother Damian Jacoby and his cat, Howl. He is in need of emergency surgery for a bladder stone he is incapable of passing. The veterinarian is estimating this procedure will cost upwards of $1,500.
Howl is a 5-year-old Russian Blue male with the most exuberant, loving, and unique personality of any cat I've ever met. He is incredibly deserving of this help.
A few weeks back, he was taken to the vet on account of blood being present in his litter box. The veterinarian believed it was a blockage of the urethra that would need to be closely monitored and Howl would be required to be put on special dietary food.
On 12/30, he was brought in to the vet again for a wellness check and radiograph which determined he has a bladder stone the size of a dime which he cannot pass on his own.
My brother has spent an estimated $600 on examinations, x-rays, and prescriptions prior to the surgery costs. As this is a life threatening condition, we are seeking financial help to get Howl this surgery asap and healthy again!
Damian's deep devotion to Howl has always been evident. Five years ago, after mere minutes in a pet store with Howl pawing and batting at him through an adoption cage, Damian had fallen in love . He adopted Howl right at opening the following morning, and they have been best buds ever since. Howl is my brother's companion, and this help would mean a great deal to him.
We are hopeful.
On behalf of Damian, myself, and every other family member who loves Howl deeply- thank you so much for your donations. Anything helps
