Howlie's "Breathe Back Better" Plan

Hi everyone! Howlie's mom here. Over the last year and a half or so, Howlie's breathing has gotten noisier with a small wheeze at the end. We watched it closely concerned that she may have what Dawg had, "lar par" or laryngeal paralysis. Dawg's was not terribly severe but it appears that Howlie's is. This girl can't get a break. Walking is already so hard with her poor joints and she makes the best of it. It is not fair to add in struggling to breathe. So after a few episodes of her struggling to breathe and turning blue when she tried to exercise or got really excited we knew we had to do something for her. So we consulted a specialist in Lynnwood (the same folks who did Dawg's lung tumor surgery). She needs a procedure called arytenoid lateralization where they will essentially tack her airway open to allow her to breathe better. We feel like Howlie is doing well health-wise other than this breathing issue and we would hate for the financial aspect of it stop us from helping our girl live her best life.

With that said, we know times are hard. Inflation is high. We are getting killed at the gas pumps. But our Howlie's infrastructure is crumbling and we need to help her "Breathe Back Better"!

We are hoping to raise the funds as fast as possible so we can get her surgery on the books as soon as possible.
