I'm reaching out on behalf of my dear friend and brother, Howard Pulley. Better known as Howie, to those of us who know and love him. Many may know him from Elmhurst / Jackson Heights neighborhood where he grew up. I know him for 50 years. Whether you know him from the neighborhood, work or attending sporting events to watch his Mets or Jets, all would unanimously agree on his most remarkable character trait. He's a guy who just tries to help others whenever he can.

Right now he needs help. Howie was born with a very serious heart condition which has caused him to alreasy undergo 9 complicated surgeries since he was a young child. This heart condition is again causing him again to battle major health challenges. His current treatment plan requires 2 more surgeries: a heart valve replacement followed by a heart transplant. Due to his current health condition, Howie doesn't possess the ability to work, so he needed to go on disability. Moreover, he will be unable to work for an extended period, which is causing him significant loss of income. In addition to facing increased health care costs, he is in need of financial assistance. Monetary donations will help some of his basic living expenses such as rent for his housing and groceries as well as health care costs. If you can, I'm asking you to please help my brother, Howie.
