Please Help My Sweet Boy Howie Heal: Every Little Bit Counts!

Hey Friends

I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart. My sweet dog, Howie, was hit by a car just a few days ago, and it’s been really tough for both of us. Watching him struggle to stand and fight through this has been heartbreaking.

Right now, Howie is at Auburn Veterinary Clinic. His left eye is all swollen, but thank goodness he can still see. He’s trying so hard to get up, but he can’t put any weight on his legs, and it just breaks my heart.

The vets have been great and told me there’s no internal bleeding, which is a relief. But they say he needs an MRI to really know what’s going on, or we could go for regular X-rays, which are cheaper but might not tell us everything we need to know.

Honestly, I can’t afford either of these options. I’ve never had to ask for help like this before, and it’s really hard for me, but Howie needs me to do everything I can for him. He’s not just my dog; he’s my buddy. He’s always there to greet me with his wagging tail and make me smile, and now I want to do everything I can to help him heal.
