Hello!
The Prestwick Howie Bowling Club are very proud that 3 members from our Visually Impaired (VI) have been selected for the IBBA World Bowling Championships in Brown's Bay, New Zealand! We need your help to raise money for this exciting opportunity ...
The funding will pay for Paul Sharp, Amy Buck and her director - Jenine Buck to represent Scotland in the competition. It will fund our travel, accommodation, equipment and tournament expenses.
Paul Sharp is classified as a B2 Bowler. He had an accident, which turned his life upside down, whilst being a trawler fisherman. He is a talented bowler and we are glad to have him on our team.
Amy Buck is classified as a B1 Bowler (which means totally blind). She had a tragic accident in 2015, 3 weeks before her 21st Birthday. Jenine (Amy's Mum) acts as Amy's Director and Carer. She takes her to training and Events. On the bowling green, Jenine gives Amy information and positions her on the delivery. Amy and Jenine make an excellent team and with Paul are proud to represent Scotland.
Please donate if you can, in order to get these wonderful players to New Zealand! Thank you.
