Howard's walk from John O'Groats to Lands End

I will be embarking on a “virtual” walk from John O’ Groats to Lands End to raise money for The Blackburn Empire Theatre.

I will be tracking my daily walks and will attempt to reach the 874-mile target by the end of the year. 

The theatre is very close to my heart, but it needs support to help it maintain the historic building, which stands at one of the main gateways to the town, near Ewood Park Football Ground.

My aim is to raise over £5,000 so that it can improve the appearance and signage of the building and help to promote the theatre to the thousands of people who travel past the theatre every day. 

The theatre is a great asset for the town and we need to let more people know about the great work that is done there.

The Blackburn Empire Theatre celebrates the 20th anniversary of reopening later this year and will be announcing special events throughout 2022.
