2020 taught us all so much about love, family, and relationships and what’s truly important. Now that we are heading towards ending our first year of marriage, during a global pandemic, what’s become important to us has definitely shifted.
2021 has also brought some new frontiers. Dwayne recently received a promotion at work and Lawrence is launching his new business! It’s looking like Ohio is going to be home for a while, so we’ve decided it’s time to officially lay roots and build the family we’ve dreamed of.
Originally we planned to have a wedding reception this year for our anniversary, since the pandemic kept us from hosting a large gathering. But instead we are now beginning the home-buying process. And later this year we plan to begin embarking on the journey towards starting a family!

Depending on the family planning agency you work with, a down payment can range from $5,000 to $15,000 and the final overall costs to complete the adoption/surrogacy process can be $25,000 to $40,000. All funds raised here will be put towards completing the home-buying process and the initial costs associated with starting adoption/surrogacy.
