I’m sure you have all heard that the legend that was Howard Rainey passed away on Saturday 23rd December 2023 leaving behind his loving wife Lorna, four sons and five granddaughters.

Howard was a huge part of the boxing world and touched everybody he met with his dedication and passion for the sport. His technical ideas and innovations were truly ahead of his time and he gave so much to the sport we all love.

Howard put down his roots in Sheffield and his heart in boxing, and now is the chance as a boxing family to give back to this man.

This fundraiser is to assist with the funeral costs and to give Howard the send-off he deserves along with a get together at De Hood Boxing Centre afterwards.

No matter how small your contribution it will go towards giving Howard the send off he truly deserves.
