The last 24 hours have been pretty scary for my sister and brother-in-law, and this was the only thing I could think to do to help at the moment. Their 23-year-old daughter, Indiana had a seizure yesterday morning prompting her husband to take her to the emergency room in Redding, Ca. She underwent an immediate MRI and CT Scan and was diagnosed with a shadow on her brain. The team in Redding immediately flew her to SF to undergo additional MRI and CT Scans. Unfortunately the results came back this morning that the shadow was in fact a small tumor and she will be going in for emergency surgery as soon as possible.
My sister, brother-in-law, my niece's husband, and a few other family members will be renting an AirBnB in San Francisco to be with her during this time. My niece and her husband are a very young couple with two baby girls. This is not going to be easy both emotionally and financially. We've already had a few people reach out asking how they can help and/or donate so I figured setting up this GoFundMe would be the quickest and easiest way to help them right now.
