HOW YOU CAN HELP ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA, AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES:

Thank you so much for all your love and support coming our way through social media and text messages. So many of you have offered support and asked how to do so. In response, we are planning on making trips to get specific items that are very needed.

As you know, where we live in Swannanoa near Black Mountain, was hit extremely hard. This is to help people in those communities.

One highway to South Carolina is passable in both directions currently, so we are organizing a supply run that we will do later this week. ANY MONETARY DONATIONS ARE APPRECIATED. Hundreds of thousands of people remain without power and water, and local road conditions are extremely bad. Our plan is to purchase necessary items ranging from generators and chainsaws to water filters and body and baby wipes for cleaning, and diapers, pet food, paper products, and other miscellaneous items. We will then triage those out to as many families in need as possible. We will buy what we can, and if we make more than our goal, we will do more trips.
