On Sunday, September 13th, LaDajah Thomas and her 7 siblings (2 boys and 5 girls) lost their father Michael Thomas in a tragic motorcycle accident in which he was killed by a drunk driver. Facing this tragedy, especially during this pandemic, along with experiencing terrible air quality marked by orange and reddish skies, has made this last week unreal. His children's ages range from 10-22. Five young women will not have the privilege to be escorted down the aisle on their wedding day by their beloved father, and his sons will not have their father figure to look up to. As the oldest sibling, LaDajah is in charge of final expenses. She just recently graduated from Oakwood University with a Bachelor's of Science Psychology and a minor in Biology. This accomplishment was completed in exactly four years, proving that she received the trait of ambition from her father who was just 40 years old, striving to open up his own barber shop. These funds will cover the preparation, funeral, cremation, and memorialization of this beloved father, son, friend, uncle, cousin, and much more.
