HOW TO BE A PERSON - Edinburgh Fringe Fund

Hello! I wrote a play called HOW TO BE A PERSON WHEN THE WORLD IS ENDING. As the name suggests, it is about how to be a person when the world is in absolute disarray. I wrote it while I was feeling sad. And now I'm much less sad, and taking it to Edinburgh Fringe, Baby!!!

 

We have been offered a wonderful venue at the Sanctuary, working with Paradise in Augustines. Our season runs for seven days, from August 22nd - 28th. We are silly excited and looking forward to sharing this show with a fantastic community.

 

The last few years for Australian artists have been extremely challenging and often relatively thankless. This is why we want to be part of one of the world's most exciting festivals for creators, a dynamic and vibrant place that fosters new work.

 

Now obviously, putting on a work half the world away is expensive. We are running by a profit-share model, so it will be an equal split between creatives and performers. You would be helping us to pay for the venue, registration, set, costume and marketing. None of your money will be going toward personal flights or accommodation.

 

If you are in a position to help, we would be extremely grateful for any contribution, big or small. We are hoping to have a Melbourne season at some point as well, so Australian audiences will not miss this work.

Any donation over $150 gets a free ticket to either Melbourne or Edinburgh show (buyers choice!)
Any donation over $500 gets 2 free tickets AND a signed poster from the team!
Any donation over $1000 gets my first born child, 4 free tickets and a signed poster from the team 
Any donation over $1500 we literally will have to curate it to you, but it'll be grand!
