How did the chicken cross the road? Jaywalking.

On 2/18 around midnight I was riding passenger headed to Ralph’s on the back of a sharp forest green Vespa.  While making a legal turn on Vineland a pedsterian decided to hastily jaywalk into our turn path.  The driver turned to avoid hitting the pedestrian, and we fell rolling onto the cold, hard intersection.   After the initial hit my helmet came off.  The pedestrian  decided to flee the scene of the crime rather than help, or even place a call to 911.  I laid bleeding out from my head facedownand convulsing in the arms of the driver.

I was rushed to the ER via ambulance after cops stated it was best to avoid the pedestrian.  They confirmed I had a post-concussion, deep cut from my glasses over my left eyebrow, and plenty of road rash.  I received an IV, and 2 stitches inside my head wound and 7 on the outside of it.   Luckily ALL of my testing came back clear.

I am now asking for help.  The hospital bills and follow up will be hefty, but I have a plan to press charges.  To do either I need extra funding.  I spend my time as a nanny, student, and actress.   The brief break I’ll take from my nanny position will have a slight effect on my income.  I greatly appreciate any help and will provide proof of bills.
