How can you help Amy ❤️

Everyone keeps asking me how they can help my sister Amy??

Amy would never ask anyone for anything…. But I know this will help and be one less thing she needs to worry about!!

Amy was diagnosed with Triple negative Breast cancer October 17th when her new born baby was just 7 weeks old.

The news has shocked and devastated our family as Amy was previously re assured by nhs midwives the lump was ‘just’ a blocked milk duct…

Amy remains really positive post diagnosis she’s incredibly brave which I admire greatly… we know she will pull through this and I just want to take some weight off her shoulders!!

So treatment wise….

She is currently undergoing 24 weeks of chemotherapy and immunotherapy… firstly Paclitaxel and Carboplatin 1 per week for 12 rounds and epirubicin and cyclophosphamide 1 every 3 weeks for 4 rounds. Immunotherapy 1 every 4 weeks.

Amys body is drained from treatment her immune system is low and she’s more prone to infection.

Both affecting her ability to work with public and do her job I know she loves and misses so dearly!!

Amy had only planned short maternity leave and it’s left her devastated that she can’t go back to work as she had planned.

So more to the point how can you guys help??

Amy will need to undergo surgery to remove the cancer…. The surgery on the nhs is restrictive and I know paying privately is a choice - but this is really important we get it right for her.

I know she would feel much more confident going private if she could so that’s what I want to help with if I can.
