Houston Family's Fire Relief Fund

Donation protected
On the afternoon of June 8, 2021, the Intanko Fire ravaged the home and property of our dear sister's family home and business in Wheatland, CA.  Jennifer Houston and her family of five were fortunately home when they saw the grass fire quickly approach their property.  They were able to get their family, most of their pets and all of the dogs and puppies before their home was engulfed in flames.  This devastating house fire caused them to lose everything and created massive amounts of damage. We are grateful that they all made it out safely, but they are in need of financial help from our community.

The Houston's are compassionate professional labrador retriever dog breeders and operated Houston Labradors from their home and with their acreage of property.  Besides their children, these dogs and puppies are the heart and soul of Jennifer and Sam's home and livelihood.  Because of their business, it is complicated for the Houston's to determine where and how to live, as rentals would likely be unsupportive of their dogs and puppies.

Victims of fires face tremendous emotional stress and financial costs and we're hoping we can help alleviate some of the stress that they will face as they begin to rebuild. Every single donation helps. Anyone that knows this family knows just how wonderful and caring they are of others.

Thank you for the consideration of giving back to this deserving family!
