Welcome to the Joshuas' GoFundMe page. We're so grateful for any help that you could give for this next stage in our family's journey. This August, the family is moving from sunny Southern California to humid Houston, TX! Stacey's been offered a full-time position teaching English at Lone Star College's Cy-Fair campus.
The move is bittersweet for all of us. We have spent our entire lives in the San Gabriel Basin, and most, if not all, of our friends and family are here in California. But we are looking forward to what the Lord has for us in Houston with growing excitement. Although we are confident that this move is ordained of God, this is not a move for which we have planned.
Many of you have asked how you could help us with the move, and we love and appreciate that. Currently, our biggest need is financial. For those of you who have moved cross-country before, the estimation may seem average (around $8800), but this is a significant outlay, and beyond our means. We must trust the Lord for all of it. This amount includes the cost of us moving into our new place and making it to our first paycheck. The estimate is below.
It's hard to ask, hard to receive and sometimes hard to trust the Lord. But He is our provider, and our strength and our shield. We know that the Lord provides as He leads. If the Lord has put it upon your heart to help us, we thank you and glorify Him.
