However, she has recently lost her job due to a name and gender marker change affecting her eligibility. As a transgender immigrant woman of color living in Southern California trying to obtain citizenship status, she is more vulnerable than ever, especially with the current environment outside.

From this, I hope to raise some rent money for her so that she can continue to focus on getting a job. She is the hardest worker I know and has been through loss after loss. She recently worked hard to gain housing, and I would hate for her to lose it as she is also worried about her safety.
