Hello Everyone! My name is Alphi I am starting this fundraiser in hopes of raising enough funds to move. I am a Federal Contractor that was furloughed on October 1. I will NOT receive backpay for lost days of pay as a contractor.
My goal is to raise enough funds to pay several months of rent in advance, get utilities established, and pay for basic moving expenses. Due to my credit and rental record I will face challenges and will need to incentivize corporate America to rent to me by offering multiple months of rent in advance.
My current lease expires on December 1 and the property management company will not renew my lease. I will not have a paycheck stub that will support evidence of having 2.5-3x the rental amount to support an application for a new home. I have picked up some work this week but again I will not see a paycheck stub that will reflect significant income until late November.
I have no savings for a multitude of reasons:
Husband died in 2016 in midst of divorce leaving majority of the debt on me
Oldest daughter has no health insurance and is a Type 1 Diabetic with no thyroid due to her unmanageable Graves Disease
I experienced a health crisis in 2023/2024 due to insurance not covering medication I had previously been on under different insurance and was required to try alternatives before they would cover. My health deteriorated and I became deathly ill and experienced an eviction as a result
Continued medical issues as I recovered during 2024
2025 has been brutal with inflation and the increased cost of living
2025 also brought two fraud attacks on my bank account, ongoing family medical problems, and other unexpected expenses
Like many Americans, I live paycheck to paycheck, supporting myself and 2 children. Both of my girls are adults but both are on the spectrum and have lifelong medical needs. Due to their medical expenses and needs, they are still home with me under my care and responsibility. My kids are not free loaders or lazy just navigating a world that is not friendly towards adults on the spectrum who are introverts. One has insurance the other does not and her prescriptions and medical expenses are very high.
I am well aware that there are hundreds of thousands of others that are facing the same plight but would greatly appreciate any and all assistance that is provided.
I do not have content to sell, foot pics, nor am I built for OnlyFans or the likes. Majority of my friends and associates are furloughed Federal employees or contractors and are in the same position as me. My only family outside of my daughters are my sister and nephew and they are not in the position to help at this time.
the assistance received will be used to pay rent, moving costs, and bills associated with moving.
I would also ask that if you cannot help me, that you please help organizations within your community with food and hygiene donations. The food banks are struggling to keep up and could use all the help that can be provided at this time.
