Housing Security & Moving funds & Emergency Repairs

Hello! I am raising funds for myself.

I am seeking to relocate closer to some family, and in the process of doing so, cover as much moving/transitioning/settling in costs as possible. I have been through a lot in the past few years, especially the past few months. But I am hopeful about being closer to my support system, and beginning anew in a city that I always wanted to live in.

I want to turn a page, and start anew. Money, of course, remains an obstacle in my new beginning. (For many others, I am sure...)

I recently hurt my back, and while I am slowly recovering, I am also coming down with a cold. Even still, I am doing my best to get to and through every one of my shifts, knowing that I need this money to survive. However, even if I were well and able bodied, I wouldn't have enough time to save what I need to move out on my own. It would be a great help to not have to worry about all these up-front expenses.

Unfortunately, I do not have people whom I can rely on financially; I have been paving my own way since I was a teenager. I am careful with how much I share here with this being a public platform. I have no idea who may find this. I am uncomfortable with sharing intimate details; I am just hoping that people who are in a giving mood and/or who are able to give, come across my page. You would be helping someone start over, and begin to live the life they want.

$4500... That's both a lot of money, and maybe not a lot for some.

With this amount, I would like to cover:

2400 -- 2 x $1200/month rent (slightly lower than the city's average rent for a 1 bedroom, but I have scouted reasonable prospects)

600 -- 1000 furnishing (bed, lighting, nightstand, etc.) & settling in expenses (groceries, housewares, initial internet set up, etc.) (I am no stranger to facebook marketplace, so I will definitely not be buying everything new)

~1000 -- sink replacement for the sink in the apartment I currently live in (something fell from the medicine cabinet and made a spider web's crack in the sink, I need to have it replaced before I leave because I was technically the person responsible for it)

500 -- elbow room, just in case

Some context, but definitely not all-- I have all 4 wisdom teeth growing in that have been giving me trouble and that need to be taken out asap, especially because of recurring periocoronitis. I am also paying off a loan that I had to take out a few months ago. It was for a life-saving procedure to save one of my cats. It's pretty rough out here for me, but I really am just hoping for some help to resituate myself. I am confident I can find my way, and stand proud, and in my power. I just need a little help to get started.
