She Self-Deported From Minneapolis Out of Fear — Now a Mother of Three Needs Help to Survive.

Estefania is a mother of three who has been forced to start over more than once.

Years ago, she fled Ecuador with her sisters, traveling for months on foot across jungles, rivers, and deserts to reach the United States. She was seeking safety and stability for her children.

She eventually settled in Minneapolis, where she began rebuilding her life. But six months ago, her husband was deported back to Ecuador, leaving her alone to support three children.

When immigration enforcement escalated in Minneapolis and ICE raids intensified across her community, fear spread quickly. Families were being detained. Children were being separated. Estefania was terrified of being taken and leaving her children without any parents.

Faced with that fear — and hoping to reunite her family — she made the heartbreaking decision to self-deport and return to Ecuador with her children.

She believed they would rebuild together.

Instead, when she arrived, her husband forced her and the children out of the home.

Now Estefania is back in Ecuador with three young children and no stable housing. She urgently needs support to:
