Housing Insecure in 30 Days!

Blessings to all that take the time to read this... My name is William and just over a year and a half ago, I was blessed to marry the love of my life, Melissa. Within that small window of time, we were faced with a series of disastrous circumstances. The direst of which is that a year ago in May, at 33 years old and with no history of cancer in her family, Melissa was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. A subsequent follow-up with doctors revealed that the cancer had spread from her breast to her lymph nodes. Soldiering through moments of deep depression and disbelief, she is currently undergoing Chemotherapy. Just before her diagnosis, I transitioned from a Community Coordinator job to a Ride Share driver. Had I known of her condition, I would not have left. With only my income, we have had severe financial struggles. We narrowly escaped eviction last October (still owing the Landlord/Company), but are on the verge of eviction again and must find a place to stay by April by 15. I can not accurately put into words the pain I feel for not being able to provide for the welfare of my wife. I work 7 days a week and my wife valiantly drives for a dash delivery service when she is well enough to do so between bouts of Chemotherapy appointments. We are living off only what we are earning day to day. After a year of job searching, I will be accepting a position in education in April but I will not receive payment until May, a month too late. I have sold my guitars, jewelry, and cashed out my meager pensions from years as a teacher, but the costs and debts are overwhelming and seem insurmontable.

Your donations will provide a way for me to secure housing for my wife and my beautiful daughter that stays with us during the weekends. These donations will support us until my job begins, and will allow me to start paying down a year and a half worth of debt, bills, and maintaining my wife's car, our sole source of income at this time (which is hanging on by a thread).
