I’m Chris, a 25-year-old queer restaurant worker who is currently unemployed due to the Covid-19 pandemic as well as the extended San Francisco shut down. I have since been able to secure a job located two hours from where I currently live and am expected to begin once lockdown ends though there is no definitive timeframe for that.
As of now, I am in great need of help covering moving expenses. I am unable to take the furniture I have used at my current place with me, but I do need help moving my personal belongings. I will also need to purchase a bed, bedding, and several other household necessities upon moving in. Locating secure housing has been quite difficult for a while now, as I am already of limited financial resources, which have only been exacerbated by the pandemic. The amount I am requesting will go toward my security deposit, bedding, and all other moving expenses.
