Housing for Disabled

I'm Alex! I'm a 21 year old disabled woman. My boyfriend and caretaker, Kleyton, is 22. We are both Latino, with Kleyton being a Guatemalan immigrant. 

We recently fled domestic violence and have wound up homeless living in a motel. 

I can't work due to my disability. I have severe endometriosis and adenomyosis. I also have depression (as does Kleyton) and PTSD. Kleyton was out of work for a long time due to the Covid virus. This wiped out any money we had, but he recently started working again. We haven't seen a paycheck for that yet, as he is said biweekly. He works in construction. He works very hard every day to take good care of me. 

With my illnesses, I have a ton of costs. My medications alone are just astronomical. We're also scrambling to pay for and prepare for the surgery I need (my 5th laparoscopy for my endo), and will hopefully get the procedure done when the virus is "under control" and the medical system begins working normally again. Until then, I am unspeakably miserable. We desperately need help paying for my medical costs. 

We also desperately need help paying for our motel room and a place to move into. We have nowhere we can go, no friends or family that can help us. We are on our own. Living in the motel has sent our depression into overdrive. We are scared every single day, wondering if we're going to make the $74 for the room or if we'll be out on the streets. We need to get out of here and into a steady place as soon as we can. Our plan is to rent a room that is near his work for $500-$550 a month. $2,000 might seem to be a high goal, but it's 2 month's rent ($1,000), medical costs including medicine and appointments ($400), and a security deposit/hotel room cost ($600). 

Please help us if you can. We are desperate and trying to survive. We need help,
