Housing and Healthcare for Black, Trans Artist

Zarina is a black, trans artist and musician from Louisiana currently located in Los Angeles. For the last few years, she has been on her gender transition journey, and it's going great so far, but because the American medical system is broken and transphobic, the surgeries that are medically necessary for her survival and happiness are currently out of her reach.
We raised a first round of money to help Zarina move out of Louisiana to Los Angeles to get her first round of medical care last year (it is impossible to get gender affirming surgeries in Louisiana). But due to the pandemic, and the unexpected expenses related to her mother passing away a few months ago, Zarina needs money to find stable housing, continue her medical treatments for her transition, and survive the pandemic.
In case you're unaware: the vast majority of gender affirming surgeries are NOT covered by insurance.
Zarina's artistry is bold, innovative and deeply personal. She describes herself as "an intergalactic demoness turned goddess" and "a siren of sultry vibes."
