Help a mother of three given divorce

Hi I am a stay home mom of three beautiful children. I live in Frisco, TX where I moved from Brooklyn, NY in November of 2019. All of my family resides in New York, including my parents and two brothers and their families. I have no family or friends in Frisco, TX. On Sept 26, 2021, my husband of 16 years left me and my kids and moved out. Since the day he left, my kids and I have been surviving with the help of my family. On November 17, 2021, my husband got me served with divorce citation. And again, it was my family and friends, that helped me and I was able to hire an attorney to represent me, but now my options for getting help are almost exhausted.

 

I am and have been the primary caretaker of our children. I am the one who picked up and dropped off our kids to/from school. I’m the one that always took our kids to their doctor appointments and ER. I’m the one that always attended their parent/teacher conferences, along with any other events/practices happening at school. I am the one that helps our kids with their homework and projects. I have been a stay home mom for most of their lives. With no source of income and no access to our marital community funds, it is becoming nearly impossible to be able to keep up with my attorney’s fees. I am in desperate need of any help that I can get. Thank you for reading.
