Help raise the Palestinian Flag in Balboa Park

The dream of building a permanent structure for the House of Palestine is finally within reach… but not without your support.


With your help The House of Palestine will join a select number of international cottages to be built in San Diego’s world famous Balboa Park, the largest urban cultural park in the US. This will mark the first time the Palestinian flag will be raised in such a public space.


The House of Palestine’s mission is to promote the culture and heritage of Palestine by hosting various social activities featuring Palestinian traditional costumes, folkloric dance, poetry, music, arts and crafts, and foods. It is our desire that these activities serve as instruments to educate visitors and encourage awareness among all peoples.

The House of Palestine is a non-political, non-sectarian, non-partisan, and non-profit organization.

The fundraising goal is $333,000 in order to complete construction in 2016. To date, we have raised approximately $150,000, but we need your help to raise the remaining $183,000.
