LA Fire: House & Memories Lost. Help Eaton couple & toddler
Donation protected
Camelia, Rhett, and their toddler son Rhaegar were returning to LA from a family trip when they found out they needed to save their home. Sadly, the house, mementos, and their entire lives within it perished within hours in the Eaton Canyon Fire, though the mortgage (and property taxes) remain, with payments resuming shortly. Please help them rebuild their lives.
The family hopes you never experience their hardship but hopes you take the following takeaways:
- Check your insurance policy to avoid being uninsured if you haven’t done so recently.
- Digitize mementos (baby books, hospital mementos, pictures, kid’s art, etc.) that you only have in physical form.
- Lastly, have a laminated evacuation list (with multiple copies) of what needs to be grabbed in an emergency or natural disaster to avoid forgetting things amidst the chaos.
The family deeply appreciates all the support, kindness, and love shown to them during this trying time of need. Your generosity means the world to them.
