House-Fire Aid for Rhonda Henderson & Family
A vital member of our community has suffered one of the most horrible tragedies imaginable. As I’m sure you know, my husband Colt’s mother, Rhonda (known to her students as Ms. Henderson) and her youngest daughter have lost everything. Their home, vehicles, and all of her belongings have been burned to the ground. They exited the burning house with the clothes on their backs and the family dog. Please help give back to a woman who has, I am sure, impacted yourself, your child, or someone you know’s life. Rhonda has been a teacher for 33 years, dedicating her life to the children of Gilmer County. If you know Rhonda, you know she would never ask for help. She’s one of the strongest people I have ever met and has been through so much. So I ask you, my small town family, to help in any way you can. Let’s lift this family up in prayer and give glory to God that no one was injured. They were able to recover very little from the home, but the Bibles came out in mint condition—just a reminder that God is in control. I pray that we as a community will come together and help one of our own— if nothing else, whisper a prayer on their behalf.
