La House of Varietats es un edificio multidisciplinar que nace de una ansía intrínseca, de esos proyectos que parecen no encajar en los espacios ya establecidos. De esa sensación de rechazo al pisar un garito en el que no puedes ser tú. De esas tardes entre cervezas fantaseando con tener un lugar que sientes propio, tuyo, de todes y para todes.
En el bajo, un pub de dos plantas con dos ambientes; abierto de lunes a domingo y preparado para llenar la ciudad de arte local. De artistas diferentes, de shows que no encuentras en otros lugares. De sorpresas, de ambiente libre.
Y en el resto del edificio; una asociación sin ánimo de lucro. Porque la creación cultural, las reuniones, la puesta en común de ideas y de proyectos no debe, ni puede, medirse según su retorno económico. El arte es libre, accesible y de todes para explorar, crearlo y disfrutarlo. Tres plantas dedicadas a la cultura.
En mayo de 2021, en la Calle Quart 47, en pleno centro de Valencia, la House of Varietats abrirá sus puertas a todes. Seas o no de Valencia, el edificio es tuyo y tú puedes formar parte de él. Venir a disfrutar de la oferta cultural, pasar tardes devorando libros y conectando con gente o proponernos que tu banda venga a tocar, exponer tus ilustraciones o hacer una performance en directo.

Gracias a vuestras colaboraciones, tanto económicas como en mano de obra, hemos conseguido reducir el presupuesto inicial de rehabilitación del edificio de 20.000€ a 10.500€
¿Qué hemos avanzado con vuestras donaciones?
Hemos vaciado todo el edificio.
Rehabilitado y pulido las paredes de todas las plantas
Renovado la instalación eléctrica del cine y el local social
Reformado el baño del local social
Habilitado un baño nuevo en el cine
Cambiado los rótulos del pub
Pintado y añadido decoraciones en el pub
¿Qué nos queda por hacer para abrir puertas?
Pintar las paredes de todo el edificio
Rehabilitar las escaleras del patio
Comprar equipo técnico de sonido y luces
Comprar e instalar equipos de aire acondicionado
Seguimos pendientes de las restricciones, el avance de las reformas y que la situación sanitaria mejore y reunirse sea otra vez motivo de alegría. Pero nos queda el empujón final, un último esfuerzo colectivo para que La House pueda abrir sus puertas en las mejores condiciones posibles.

La House of Varietats is a multidisciplinary building born of an intrinsic craving of those projects that seem not to fit into the spaces already established. Of that feeling of rejection when stepping on a joint where you can't be yourself. Of those afternoons among beers fantasizing about having a place that you feel your own, yours, all and sundry.
On the ground floor, a two-floors pub with two rooms; open Monday to Sunday and prepared to fill the city with local art. From different artists, from shows that you won't find elsewhere. Many surprises and a free environment.
The rest of the building (three floors) is a non-profit association. A space meant for cultural creation, the sharing of ideas and projects that won´t be measured by their economic return. Art is free, accessible to everyone willing to explore, create and enjoy it.
In May 2021, in the heart of Valencia, La House will open its doors. Whether you are from Valencia or not, the building is yours and you can be a part of it!
Please, come and enjoy the cultural offer, spend afternoons devouring books and connecting with people or proposing your band to play, expose your illustrations or do a live performance.
Important! News! UPDATE TO 25.03.2020
Thanks to your collaborations, both economic and labour, we have managed to reduce the initial budget of rehabilitation of the building from 20,000 euros to 10,500 euros!
What have we made with your donations so far?
We've emptied the whole building
Rehabilitated and polished the walls of all floors
Renovated the electrical installation of the cinema and the social club
Renovated the bathroom of the social club
Enabled a new bathroom in the cinema
Changed pub signs
Painted and added decorations in the pub
What do we have left to do to open doors?
Paint the walls of the entire building
Rehabilitate the stairs of the courtyard
Buy technical sound and light equipment
Install air conditioning equipment
We remain aware of the restrictions, the progress of the works and that the health situation improves and meeting again is a source of joy. But we need the final push, a final collective effort so that La House can open its doors in the best possible conditions.
