Tragically on Saturday February 12th, 2022 House of Fitness located in Rehoboth, MA was completely lost along with other businesses to a fire.
Owner Colleen Curry had built the business from the ground up, starting off in her 700 sq ft garage. After years of building a clientele she decided to make the jump and open up a larger facility in a brand new commercial building being built in town where she could train and help even more people. Upon opening she hired two new trainers Devan and Raquel to offer her clients the best coaching and training available. What took years to build and create was destroyed in a fire in a matter of hours. Countless hours of blood, sweat, and tears completely gone.
Insurance will cover some of the equipment lost but it won’t cover the loss of the inner building, such as walls, lighting, custom gym flooring, plumbing, etc. The fire unfortunately is a huge financial hit and I’m organizing this campaign to help recoup some of the gyms losses and to help support the people effected by this devastating event.
On a personal note from a member of HOF - The gym became a second home for me. Colleen welcomed me into her gym with open arms and truly cared about me and my goals in and out of the gym. I can speak for the rest of the members in saying that HOF isn’t just a gym it’s a family! We are all feeling the loss of this amazing establishment and our gym community.
Donations, thoughts, prayers are all greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
