House Hippo Needs Help!

I adopted Benz in September 2021 after my soulmate dog Rumbold passed away suddenly. Benz was a bit of a mess, overweight and had almost no fur. He has been the sweetest, most well-behaved, patient dog I have ever had. He quickly bonded with Miss Maple, who was missing her older brother. They're now best buds and cuddle together every morning.

Recently after a trip to urgent care (who sent us to the ER), Benz was diagnosed with Cushing's Disease. This can be controlled with medication, but this requires a process of multiple blood tests in order to determine the correct dosage and then follow-up tests on a regular basis. Each test costs $400. I already owe $2000 in vet bills pertaining to this, and we are scheduled for another blood test in 10 days plus cost of medication.

I hate asking for help more than anything, but between multiple vet ER visits in the past year along with my own unexpected medical bills I have drained my savings and maxed out my credit cards. I have fallen in love with this dog and will do anything I can to keep him around as long as I can. He is only 4 years old and has so much life and love left to give. He has become quite the neighborhood celebrity, bringing smiles to everyone we pass by on our morning walks, not to mention the bond that him and Maple have established.

Any money recieved will go directly to pay for the upcoming blood work as well as the debt I have already incurred to diagnose Benz' condition. It's been such a rough few years and I would greatly appreciate any tiny bit of help in order to dig us out of this hole and get him on track with the right meds.
