House for Jislene

Donation protected
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I am a missionary in Montrouis, Haiti. I work for Acts 1:8 Missions Ministries. We do a lot of different projects, but my favorite thing that we do is build houses for people who can't afford to help themselves.
We have built two so far, for two ladies, both named Rosemary coincidently. One lady was raising her family of two children in a mud shack and the other lady is paralyzed in a wheelchair, living in a house that leaks when it rains.
Both house we built are nice houses, the only difference is the size and the price.
We built a single room house with a covered porch for paralyzed Rosemary, the dimensions are 4mx4m, not including the porch. The total cost for that project was $3,000 US.
For the other Rosemary we built a two room house with a covered porch, it was a little over twice the size, and twice the cost, making it $6,000.
I would like to build Jislene a two room house for $6,000. The money would cover the cost of the house, we will also be able to build a Haitian bathroom and kitchen. The money will also pay all the laborers a fair wage, plus we feed them two meals a day while they are at work.

I said that building houses was my favorite project that we do, I say this for many reasons. I love to work hard, and I love even more to work hard beside my Haitian brothers, and I can promise you the work is hard and hot in Haiti. I love the people that I work with, they all work really hard, and our builders are so talented and smart at what they do. They love to work, they just never have jobs to do, so I love giving them a good job to do! I love being able to see our progress each day and knowing that with every block laid it is a step closer to changing a life in a huge way.

Right now as you are reading this, Jislene is living in a house made out of banana leaves, raising her two daughters Jezila and Anita. They have nothing, literally nothing in a materialistic aspect. You can see that in the picturws.

Please, consider donating any amount. I promise you it will add up, a dollar goes a long long way in Haiti. $6,000 is nothing to change a life as dramatically as it would change this family's. They are really close to my heart and I want nothing more than to help them in this way. If you aren't comfortable with donating online, you can take cash or a check made out to "Acts 1:8 Missions Ministries" to 109 N Jackson St Hartwell, GA 30643.

Thank you in advance for helping change lives, may God bless you.
