House entirely flooded due to Storm Christoph. Many personal items lost.

Woke up in the night to a bubbling sound, raff got out of bed to check it out and literally put his foot straight into freezing cold water. We jumped out of bed and started frantically trying to move all of our stuff upwards, my PC was on the floor so we grabbed it and ran upstairs with it, not sure if it survived or not yet. Luckily raffs PC was on his desk. Sadly my VR headset/controllers were ruined, as they were also on the floor and my green screen mats were floating around the room. We walked into the living room and the laminate flooring was wobbling underneath our feet, so we didn't want to hang around for too long as it felt unsafe. As we were grabbing the last few things we could, there was a knock on the door, our neighbour peeped his head around from his door and said "I don't know if you guys have noticed, but we're underwater" as a wheelie bin floated down the street . Water was rushing in pretty quickly by this point so we left without having chance to check the kitchen out. Raff gave me a piggy back out of the house as the water in the street went past my knees at this point. If only we had been notified in advance about the possibility of a flood, we might have been able to save more stuff. We are really sad that we lost so many personal items and our gaming setups, just as we were finally settling down in our house together now that raff is home. We really don't know the full extent of the damage yet or how gofundme works properly, so the goal is the minimum damage that we know of but anything at all helps.
