House Fire LOST EVERYHING

Location: Memphis/Midtown (heart of cooper young) 38104 Felix Ave My name is Devonte I am 26 & have 2 kitty cats. Unfortunately, on 12/16/23 I had a house fire that destroyed my entire home (mine & my kitty’s safeplace) & split my little family apart. I would be so grateful & filled with joy if anyone donates.. I am fundraising to help with shelter, needs, food, emergency, kitty cats, etc. This would benefit those involved & to help bring my kitty’s home. MY STORY//DAY OF FIRE⬇️ The night of 12/15 I went to bed praying, grateful for everything I have. I kissed and cuddled my kitty cats as usual. The morning of 12/16/23 I woke up feeling like it was a dream. I woke up to a man’s voice telling me to get up, and just like that I could see/smell the smoke, see the flames and panicked. My first thought was the kitty cats…. The way my bedroom is, there is a door to the outside. That is how I got out, I had to move a heavy mirror & grab what I saw and exit immediately. As I leave, I can feel the heat of the fire, I see and hear glass breaking, loud noises, etc. it was traumatic & life changing. The front door was left open, where one of my cats DID escape. I am still searching for her (I will put pictures) & after escaping I just had to sit there and watch EVERYTHING I had worked so hard for literally burn & be destroyed. I work very hard for the things I had & the fire took all my memories, my kitty cats home, and my home. It just isn’t right. On top of all this, I had to take a leave from work, I’m still searching for my kitty cats, and I am only 22 years old. I have very minimal support.
