But God!!

My name is Keshauna, I'm 30 with 4 children. At 3 am the day after New Year's, I woke up to my 6-year-old saying, "Mommy, it's a fire downstairs." In a matter of 30-45 seconds, the house filled with smoke and I'm beyond thankful we're here. Everything is gone, but we are HERE! I'm thankful God gave me the strength to get myself and 5 children out of a burning home. In the blink of an eye, our world did a whole 360. This is a hurt that is not even explainable. It's a hurt that I'm trying to process so we can begin to pick up the pieces. Material things are replaceable, but our lives are not, and simply for that, I'm GRATEFUL! Pride... pride is something we all have. But for my babies, I'll do anything!!! Being superwoman and saving the day is ME. Right now... whew. My kids just keep asking, "Ma, can you go get our stuff? Ma, can we get our tablets? Ma, can you go get the game?" and I can only answer, "Mommy's gonna get it, just hold on." Y'all, I need help. I need help to help my babies feel like their Christmas isn't a total loss. Everything else we will get back in due time, I trust, I believe, and I know... but I just want my babies content and happy for the moment. If you can help, I appreciate it, we appreciate it, we are grateful!!!
