Hey everyone, I am Steve and Millie's son Scott. On Tuesday morning, July 19th, my parents' home burnt down. My mother was boiling some water in the kitchen when the burner went out. Before she could turn the stove off, the burn reignited and started a fire. My mother attempted to put out the fire but was unable to. She was taken to the hospital and thankfully released later that day, only suffering first-degree burns on her legs, chest, and hands.

Right now, they are living with my brother and his family and will probably bounce around to a few places until we have a permanent housing solution. We do have a plan, but it will take some time. The purpose of this fundraiser is to help replace the contents of the home. Once we get them in a new home we will need to furnish it. They are also in need of clothes and other personal items.

We would appreciate any donations to help my parents in these tryting times.
