House Fire Relief for Tonya

My mother, Tonya Brewer-Hunt (62), lost her home in a devastating house fire early Friday morning, 5-30-25. I, her daughter Katrina, am starting this fundraiser to seek help with her extensive needs. She lost EVERYTHING. Unfortunately, there is NO homeowners insurance.

The Red Cross was able to provide a pre-paid Visa card to her for immediate emergency funds at the time of the fire. We are thankful and grateful for that. I am going to oversee and manage this account, as well as help her find housing, clothing, and furniture to get her back on her feet. Her needs are unimaginable. If anyone feels led to help, it would be greatly appreciated. If you can't help, all prayers for the family would also be appreciated.

I thank God that she and her dog escaped unharmed. We have a lot of work to do to recover. It's overwhelming and exhausting thinking of what needs to be done now. We are taking it one step at a time. She is safe, and the dog is taken care of, and that is step one.
