House Fire Relief for Tay and Hades

On November 30th, in Toronto, ON, Taylor Brennan suffered a disastrous house fire that has not only displaced her and left her with nothing but the clothes on her back, but has also taken the lives of her 5 pet snakes, and has left her gorgeous, gentle fur-baby, Hades, in critical condition.

Along with her emotional devastation, she faces the massive financial burden that comes along with a disaster such as this. The cost of Hades’ vet bills will be outrageous, along with the costs of immediate basic necessities, replacing all her belongings and finding new housing, temporary and eventually, permanent. Insurance will help, but will not be sufficient and will take time to come in, and as a renter, Tay will have to find new (dog-friendly) housing regardless.

Tay and Hades moved to Toronto from BC in January 2023, with Tay coming to Canada from Brisbane, Australia over a decade ago. I am writing today on behalf of everyone who loves her and wants to help while we are helpless on the other side of the country, and other side of the world.

Tay deserves to mourn her losses and help Hades fight for his life, without the looming stress of finances.
