House Fire Recovery Fund Margeret & Jack Tomlinson

Margaret and Jack have been married for 61 years. Raised 3 children, and have been blessed with 1 grandchild and 3 great grandchildren. And have enjoyed an average suburban life. With ups and downs as most people endure through their lives, with good times, great times and of course bad times. Their retirement years they looked forward to have had challenges as most people. But the past couple of years have been especially hard. Jack started to have heart problems. With several attacks and trips to the ER, he ultimately needed to have a pacemaker put in. And then like domino's falling, Margaret got Multiple Myeloma (bone cancer). Had to have back surgery as a result and is undergoing Chemo treatments. While getting treatments she got infected with Covid 19 and hospitalized. She thankfully recovered from covid and was sent home finishing her chemo, weak but alive. Another Domino falls, their youngest daughter gets breast cancer. Worried and praying for their daughter. They have a strong religious faith and believe faith and prayer from family and friends have pulled them this far. But as another domino falls, their house caught fire while away with family celebrating Jacks 81rst birthday. The fire consumed their bedroom. Thank God the fire didn't happen while they slept. With their medical issues severely draining their retirement, now this. They are now trying to survive, living in a hotel with the clothes they had on their backs when they came home, only to see what the fire took away from them. They are not allowed in the house yet to see what can be salvaged, but the firemen did help with getting medications they desperately need and are trying to replace the meds they couldn't get.
  Margaret and Jack are my aunt and uncle, and although they did not ask for help, I can see they are in need. So I have setup this fund to try and help them to cover their insurance deductible's and to replace clothes and personal items the insurance doesn't cover. Funds will only be spent on their needs and if funds exceed their needs it will go to a cancer research charity.
