It is with a heavy heart and lots of gratitude that I write this....
Today my brother’s home went up in flames due to faulty wiring in the kitchen of their small Old Metairie home. By the grace of God his girlfriend, 7 month old son and dog made it out unharmed. They got out with the clothes on their backs and have to replace everything as they did not have renters insurance (as many renters don’t). At the moment they are in complete shock and are staying with my mom, but are overwhelmed by the loss of just about EVERYTHING they’ve worked so hard for. 
Although I try to contribute and donate to as many causes as I can, I’ve never been on the other side. I kindly ask from the bottom of my heart ❤️ to please help if you can. There’s already been a ton of offers for furniture and other larger items, but right now they don’t have anywhere to even put those things. More than anything, they need financial assistance so they can buy diapers, wipes, formula, toothbrushes, underwear and other necessities that we sometimes take for granted.
