Tragically, the Balkcom family home was consumed by a devastating house fire. Derick, Trevor, and Trenton were able to get out safely, however, their belongings were engulfed by smoke and flames.

Derick is an amazing person who has raised two incredible young men. He is always giving to his community, asking nothing in return. We are raising funds in hopes to give back to this selfless family and help them purchase everyday necessities that were lost; clothing, shoes, furniture, bedding, linens, kitchen ware, appliances, and many other things that were destroyed.

We know house fires can be very heavy emotionally and financially. We are hoping to help alleviate some of these burdens by giving to them as selflessly as they have given to those around them.
