Only days ago, our family lost their home in Vega Texas. It appears that they had an electric fire that started under the house; leaving nothing salvageable behind. As a family and as a community we realize how blessed that none of our family were home or hurt by this fire. Unfortunately, they did lose their 13-year-old schnauzer Buddy. A state trooper noticed the fire starting under the back porch as he drove by their home, he, along with the kid's granddad was able to rescue the other two dogs still in the home.

However, Mika and her 4 children now must begin the painstaking process of grieving for what they had and begin on the path of rebuilding their lives and home. There are 2 teenage girls in the house, Macy and Dakota along with their twin 5th-grade siblings, Zeke and Zailey. The kids are active in all athletics, FFA and community events and will need help replacing their extra-curricular equipment, shoes and clothing.

They need immediate funds to serve the purpose of:

- temporary housing

- deposit for long long-term housing

- housewares & furnishings

- animal food and supplies

- clothing, jackets & shoes

- food

- school supplies

-personal care and hygiene and make-up supplies

-sporting equipment, clothes and shoes

We are very grateful for prayer and healing energy; so please support them in any way you can. Mika and her family have always been generous with their time, lives and heart, I hope we can pull together and help during their time of immense need.
