My name is Tammy Torpy and I am fundraising for my neighbor, Jon Wilson.
Early morning September 12, 2021, our neighbor Jon Wilson lost his home and belongings to a house fire. The home suffered substantial damage with no insurance. Two weeks before the fire his only means of transportation was stolen. Fortunately, it was recovered but the cost of the damages done to his vehicle has left him with little in reserve to aid in moving forward on his next challenge. Jon has been left homeless with all his belongings lost in the home. Jon is on a fixed income and is disabled. He has been our neighbor for many years and has faced many challenges in the time we have known him. From illnesses to having been robbed on several occasions. Still, he manages to rise like a Phoenix. With this recent tragedy, he needs the help of our community to rise. This one is just too large of a loss for him to manage on his own with his health and his income level. Jon would really love to have his family heirlooms recovered from the home and to be able start the rebuild process. Any amount you can give will help Jon begin the process of rebuilding his life and help him get into a place to stay as the winter months are coming.
