Hi, my name is Bridgette Cadle. I’m a single mom to two amazing kids, and right now we are facing one of the hardest times of our lives. Yesterday, after taking my son to a doctor’s appointment, I came home to find our house filling with smoke. The fire department arrived quickly, but by then the fire had already spread through the ceiling due to faulty electrical wiring. Sadly, our landlord has told us we are on our own, and in just a matter of hours we lost almost everything.

We are now left with no home, no belongings, and nowhere to go. I don’t have family here in Tennessee besides my kids’ dad and his family, and while they’re trying to help, times are already so tough. I’m not someone who usually asks for help, but right now I don’t have another choice—I just want to give my children a safe place to sleep and the basic things we need to start over.

Anything you can give, whether it’s a donation or sharing this page, would mean more than words can say. Every little bit helps us move closer to rebuilding our lives. If anyone is able to help with clothing as well, my daughter wears 4T/5T in clothes and size 8/9 shoes, my son wears 6/7 in clothes and size 1 shoes. For myself, I wear 2X in shirts and pants/shorts, and size 11 shoes.
