One of our dedicated team members, Brandon Wilburn, was seriously injured in a house fire in the early morning hours of December 20, 2023. Brandon is currently under care in the burn unit at a local hospital. And while he, his uncle, his father, their bird, and their service dog all made it out of the fire alive, the house is a total loss and they lost everything inside the home. We are raising money to provide Brandon with the medical care he needs, to cover his lost wages while he is recovering, and to help him and his family replenish necessities, as they have been displaced.

We are also collecting household items, dog food, cockatoo food, and men's clothing (at least size large); those items can be dropped off at either of our locations (2133 Upton Drive, Virginia Beach, or 1658 Pleasure House Road, Virginia Beach). We greatly appreciate any and all donations and we also ask that you please share!
