Our friend Breona, an Active Duty Army Soldier and devoted single mother to her young son, Mason, has faced the unimaginable. On September 20th, 2025, an unexpected electrical fire tore through their home, reducing everything they owned to ashes in an instant. A lifetime of memories, belongings, and security was gone in moments. Thankfully, they are safe but left with nothing. No bed for Mason, no toys to comfort him, no clothes beyond what they were wearing.

If you know Breona, you know how rare she is. For those who don’t, she’s the kind of person who never hesitates to give donations , her time, her strength, her generosity, and her heart. Whether in uniform, at work, as a friend, or as a loving mother, she has always lifted others up without asking for anything in return. Now, she and Mason are the ones who desperately need lifting after losing everything .

The hardest part is watching Mason go without the simple comforts every child deserves , a safe space, a warm bed, and the feeling of home. Breona, who has spent her life putting others and this country first, is now faced with the unbearable reality of having nothing left to give her little boy .

They are beginning again from scratch. And no mother especially one who has given so much of herself to others should have to do that alone.
