My name is Patti Bruno and I’m creating this GoFundMe to help my sister, Michelle, and my nephews who were left homeless after a house fire at their rented Nazareth home on the morning of February 7, 2024.

The fire caused the attic of their rented 4BR home to burst into flames - resulting in the roof collapsing in on most of their bedroom areas in the upstairs portion of the house. Thankfully, due to quick thinking on everyone’s part and the quick response of first responders - everyone made it out safely. However, the difficult part of the recovery effort is what wasn’t damaged by the fire and smoke was damaged by water and has left their rented house uninhabitable for AT LEAST 6-8 MONTHS.

All monies collected will be going towards lodging, food, and transportation (gas as the kids will need to be driven to school and activities). My sister’s family of 5 is now temporarily lodged at a hotel that costs 100$ a night (example: 60 days is $6,000). They will also have to eat out more often as storing food in a hotel room simply isn’t feasible.

My sister and nephews, like most of our family, are active members of their community and often the first to step up to help someone else, so I wanted to make this GoFundMe to help them now that they need it.
