House Fire Leaves Family in Need of Aid

So, as most of y'all know, 3 days ago I asked for the prayer warriors on my social media for prayers for me and my family. Some of y’all have reached out and asked if everything is okay and what to pray about.

Well, unfortunately, Wednesday afternoon after getting off of work, my house caught fire and we had to evacuate. Due to the damages, we are no longer able to live in the house we called our home for 9 years. It’s devastating, and we're currently still in shock. The scary part was my nephews, niece, and sister were all there when it happened. So, of course, the kiddos are all shaken up, confused, and upset as to why it happened to us.

Not going to lie, it was a scary moment because, mind you, I had just got off work and came into the house smelling like something was burning. I looked around, and all I could think of was just to get the kiddos out first and the fur babies, then ourselves, the adults. It all happened so fast; it went from one room to another. Thankfully, we all made it out safe and sound, but we did lose what we called our home and are struggling right now.

We have to start all over again. We were the unlucky ones this time. I’m never the one to put out my personal business like that, but we do need all the prayers possible till we figure out what to do and get back up on our feet.
